In keeping with the continuous effort by the Government of Malaysia to ensure that its CIOs and Open Source communities remain at the leading edge of technology and knowledge, it is with great pleasure that we announce the MALAYSIA CIO CONFERENCE and MYGOSSCON 2011.
This combined event brings together two of the most iconic IT events in the Malaysian IT industry delivering most up to date and advanced technological forum for the Open Source communities and CIOs in two impactful days.
Initiated in 2007, MyGOSSCON continues to attract global interest and is recognised as one of the leading regional open source communities event. This year, it is combined with CIO Conference 2011, another landmark IT industry event in Malaysia with participation of key government agencies in the country.
The two day event to be held at the world renowned Putrajaya International Convention Centre is packed with opportunities for knowledge sharing and exchanges of ideas on technology trends and best practices for both open source communities and CIOs. Fueled by its theme of New Economy of ICT and Open Technologies Empower Digital Transformation Through Sustained Creativity and Innovation, this event promises to deliver the insight of how the new economy is being driven by technological advances such as open source to help the digital transformation as evident in the Malaysian public sector landscape.
